After enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps at 17, Dobbyn served in elite units including the Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team (FAST) and later led Marines in combat operations in Afghanistan. Following his honorable discharge, Dobbyn transitioned into law enforcement, serving as a Corrections Officer, Detective, and SWAT Operator.
